Methodology - Governance Phase This final step identifies the areas of focus to be addressed during the Governance of the project. The Governance Phase is often referred to as the Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) phase and is developed and supported by a CPI/Governance team. With this terminology “process” encompasses all areas involving organization/people, process and/or technology and how efforts across these areas are continuously improved.
This illustration defines the areas of concentration that will be addressed or completed during the Governance Phase, how/what is involved in addressing the areas of focus and the expected outcome of the completed area of focus. The timeline for those areas of focus to be addressed are not necessarily sequential in order as some activities may be worked on concurrently.
